Trace Literary is pleased to introduce A New Life in Bali by Manolo Link.

A New Life in Bali is an inspirational true life story of love, loss and hope.  It tells the story of how a couple’s love of Bali becomes their focus when the wife is diagnosed with cancer and eventually dies, leaving her heartbroken husband behind.  The story begins with magical happenings in Bali when he returns there with her ashes, and ends fourteen years later when he returns to Bali with his new love, an Irishwoman he met while on Pilgrimage on the Camino to Santiago de Compostela.

This is an inspiring and compelling story of love and loss, of hope and spirituality, a story in which the beauty and spirit of Bali plays a leading role.

Manolo Link was born in Cologne, Germany, and now spends his time between Cologne, Dublin and Galicia, Spain.  In addition to A New Life in Bali he has written and published three other books, A New Life on the Camino, Phillippe, and Maria Milena (none translated from German as of yet).

Manolo has given readings at Frankfurt and Leipzig Book Fair, The Goethe Institute Dublin, and at a series of events across Germany and Switzerland.  His connection with Bali has led to his participation on two occasions in the Ubud Writers and Readers Festival, a major literary festival held in Bali.
